 "Impacto" Weekly Dic 1999 The well achieved dance choreographies, the curious folkloric characters and the revel of our traditional parties, root of the native identity that the folkloric ballet of Ecuador of Luis Beltrán presents us in the different scenarios, put of relief the ancestral estate and our pluricultural wealth . It has been said that there are not better ambassadors of a nation that those that with art and master, diffuse the traditions and cultures of their towns in the different scenarios of the world; and although for the art and the national culture doesn't exist government support, neither presupposed nor auspice, as there is and in big quantities for superfluous and improvised proposals that they have almost always finished in expensive financial or political scandals, that have made us feel embarrassed before the foreign community, the good Ecuadorian artists, in each one of the scenarios, continue hoisting the native emblems and looking for a space of more respect and admiration in the international context in spite of the adversity in which they are unwrapped. Well for them, the artists, well for the work of this well structured folkloric ballet that under the direction of a specialist of the native folklore as teacher Luis Beltrán Vargas, rewarded in several occasions, with his work he has gotten applauses for a nation worthy of better luck called Ecuador. |
